The scammers pose as giant companies or projects on social media or websites to attract you to their job offers. To gain access to your personal or financial information, they may fabricate a scenario.

In January of this year, I joined Medium to begin my journey and started writing about topics I was interested in. Later, I became a member to reach and read unlimited stories.

I enjoyed it and was looking forward to getting 100 followers, but I learned that I cannot join Medium Partner Program since it is not available in my country.

As PayPal is not available in my country, so I cannot get a Ko-fi tip either.

Why???

It took me a few days to get over my frustration, and I wasn’t able to write.

What else do you do on those boring days but scroll through Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter?

It was then that I noticed some groups were offering me membership on my Facebook page.

Such as,

· Learn how to grow on Fiverr

· How to earn from medium even if you are not eligible

· How to get more subscribers and watch time on your YouTube channel

Facebook knows my problems even before I search for them. Really?

Nevertheless, I joined several of them to earn an income and improve myself.

When I joined the group named Content Writing Jobs. They asked me to inbox details and sent me a voice message requesting 1,000 PKR for a registration fee.

Who asks you to pay to get a job? A scam.

Another group called Millionaires Hub told me they had a meeting the same evening, so I should join their Whatsapp group and type OK if I want to grow. They already had a meeting scheduled, what a coincidence!

The meeting started with “This is my ID… I earn this much… you can earn this much too, regardless of your education or experience.”

Afterward, some slides were shown with a few incorrect spellings, followed by a message to submit 10 dollars each, and then attendees started sharing their IDs and earnings in dollars that were being converted into PKR through the on-screen calculator.

My host sent me a message that said, “Ma’am, if you are enjoying the meeting, please share a screenshot on Whatsapp.”

My dear, I pray that you will learn something positive, polish your skills, and work hard to succeed.

The entire process took almost 16 hours from joining the Facebook page to joining the Whatsapp group of three different scammers.

Beware of scammers!

I am satisfied with the topics and content of my writing. It will be my pleasure to keep on writing about whatever I think I know.

I’ve been making educational videos on my YouTube channel, but I can’t make videos on topics people are interested in, such as how to get 1000 subscribers in a week, since I only have 53 subscribers to date!

Not that I do not want to grow, it is just that I like to do what I am good at.

In the meantime, if you know how to grow on Fiverr or earn on Medium or get 1000 subscribers and watch time on YouTube, don’t hesitate to contact me! Lol!
